Our client is providing a key role in energizing New York State’s economy while providing the lowest-cost utilities in New York State. This utility`s engineering and design division has several openings for Senior Electrical Designers.
Candidates may be degreed Electrical Engineers with 5 plus years of experience in design of Electrical Control and Wiring Diagrams, Equipment Layouts, preferably related to high voltage switch yards and transmission facilities. Ability to understand and interpret Electrical Elementary Diagrams and/or vendor control schematics. Auto-Cad desired but not required and knowledge of programmable logic controllers is a plus. Candidates with exceptional experience without a degree will definitely be considered. This is a contract position for 12 months; most likely with yearly extensions. Hourly rate depends on experience $30.00 to $50.00 per hour.
